#1: The hydraulic line (aka front brake line) is a standard HD aftermarket shop in-stock item.
#2: For comfort the apes should be no higher than 10 degrees above your shoulder height.
#3: Screw the drags - they handle like crap!
#4: Run the highest set you legally can (here in Tennessee that means the grips *no higher than* 15 inches above the top of the seat. Really sucks - I like 16's!)
#5: As for an extended clutch cable, just convert to a foot clutch/hand shift. Takes about 4 hours to do the swap. Use Harley parts.
#6: In case you've never ridden one, a bike equipped with apes, a hand-shifter and a foot-clutch can very easily kill you. Play it very cool until you get used to it.
